From what I'm reading you submit to all the major search engines and then put your website in the sig file in various blogs or forums. What about article writing? What are the best article sites to post to.

Content is king but ensure you make use of all the link building methods. I use blogs, forums, article submission, social bookmarking sites, etc to build links to my sites.
