Tip for submitting your website to DMOZ

Its a very lengthy process waiting to see if your website gets accepted in to DMOZ if at all, but i have a quick tip which seems to work when submitting to DMOZ.

Instead of navigating through the DMOZ directory looking for the category to which best suits your website, go to:

http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/

from here navigate to your country, state, town & so on to you get to the last section which could be the name of your street or town & then submit your website there

How do we know if we are not accepted into the directory ?

Wiil they inform you ?

How long we need to wait before we can resubmit ?

I tried submitting my websites to DMOZ, but they did not reply me so i guess they're not interested in my websites though.

Any other friend here who actually got accepted in DMOZ?, not directly from them, but by submitting from your side.

I did not get the email from my submission. Is that significant?

I didn't remember about the e-mail, I just know that my website wasn't accepted and still it has'nt been accepted since about 3 months or maybe more.

Do you think it's worth waiting until your PR has increased to say 5 before submitting to DMOZ? I know they are very picky so do you think this would help?
