YouTube Pushes Filmmakers -

Youtube is giving full independency to filmmakers to publish long-form movies.
While in the past, Youtube was only allowing filmmakers to publish a video of 10 minutes in length. But now, Independent filmmakers that joins with Youtube will have a video length of 1GB. A file size that nearly allows nearly the length of a feature film and the length size would be around 1 Hour and 38 minutes long, much like a standard-definition version of Semi-Pro. Youtube will also publish ads between the video and will split the commission between itself and producers.  |

that is great news! it certainly will promote the 'independent scene', pretty sure we'll be seeing excellent works from aspiring but talented filmmakers...
