well that pretty much explains how stumbleupon works... very good illustration... i have been using it for quite a while now, and i think it's great, aside from using it for more significant purposes, i also use it to kill time, just surfing around for fun and interesting sites...

That explains how it works precisely. But I have a question, don't you think SU is over-rated? Most of the users are using to boost their traffic.
