To optimize or not to optimize?

Most of the people say don't write for search engines but write for users. What I want to discuss is while writing for end-users, do you optimize the article at the cost of easy readability or not?

This is depend on you. if you want to ranking then you will optimize according to search engine and for sale then you will go for eye for visitor.
