Default PHP vs. ASP - Which is Better to Code in? - 11-19-2007

Hey everyone..this is a very old debate but still relevant. Many coders say that PHP is easier to program in, but ASP has more functionality to build with. Some of my sites are in ASP and some in PHP. I don't really have a preference since I have recently seen that PHP is very good to build functions with.

I prefer PHP it may not have as much functionality as using ASP but PHP for me is fun to write, its easy & everything always perfectly fits together.

PHP is better than ASP because ASP has more functions but it is very easy to work with PHP functions to build in.

I personally prefer PHP, no solid reasons for this preference. It's just that I enjoy working with it, it's more about fun.

I prefer PHP. It is very easy scripting language to produce dynamic pages. It is suited for web development and can be embedded into HTML.
