For me, It's none other than vBulletin.
Though it is not free, but when compiled with vBSEO. vBulletin works pretty much well and SEO is made also easier. As far as free community softwares are concerned, I would go for phpBB. But overall, vBulletin from my side. What about you guys?  |

I have to agree, for free community software phpBB is the winner, however like you said I'd prefer to pay and get vBulletin and combine it with vBSEO
 It seems like a winning combination! |

ATM neither. All my sites are in the re-design phase. Really I just want to learn everything myself to give me some more skills to put in my portfolio. For example paintshop, c++ and some other things of this same nature.

Well in my humble opinion Vbulletin is by far the best no doubt it has so many more features its much more user friendly and the skins are awesome

My favorite type community software is vBulletin.It works much better than the other .The working with it is also easy.
